What happened:

• We move to a temporary accommodation but the old house still need to be clear before maintenance can start.
• Muscat festival almost come to an end. I've not manage to photograph the excellent Malaysia booths or the daily fireworks although this year it's only 5 mins per day.
  
• Oman beat UAE in the group stage of the Gulf cup but sadly Oman was beaten by UAE in the final, probably it will be 3rd time lucky for Oman. Next Gulf Cup in 2009 will be hosted by Oman.
• Our free broadband line is now working.

Our current house will be undergoing major refurbishment in two weeks time. Hope it will start and complete on schedule. We'll be moving to a temporary house.

I was there most of the time but did not see what the pro was seeing via his lens. Planning the shot and experience makes the difference.

Water

Our monthly water consumption is monitored by the camp services and if we exceeded a certain limit, we'll be notify and ask to reduce and conserve the water. So far in 4 years here, we've not exceeded the limit.

Special day for my son

7th January - Happy Birthday to Muhammad Baqir Qayyum, 4 years old.

Photoblogger beware

The photo above is a screen shot of a Bruneian website which used my photo (BMW photo) without permission. The copyright notice is clearly mention in my Pbase website. There was no watermark on the photo but the copyright notice should be enough. An international website in fact contacted me via the comments page in the Pbase website asking for permission to use my other photos. I actually email the webmaster to advise him of his "mistake" but up to know no answer (typical isn't it).

To other photobloggers, just beware of these amateur website!
